The admission criteria for Medical courses
MBBS eligibility criteria:
Age Limit:
As per the guidelines of the Medical Council of India (MCI), the minimum age limit for admission to the MBBS program is 17 years on or before December 31st of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit for admission.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. The minimum aggregate score required varies from institution to institution, but is generally around 50% for the general category and 40% for reserved categories.
Entrance Exam:
Candidates are required to appear for a common entrance exam such as the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
Other Criteria:
Some institutions may have additional eligibility criteria such as minimum marks in each subject, medical fitness, and proficiency in English.
MS - Masters eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification:
To be eligible for admission to an MS course in medical in India, candidates must have completed their MBBS degree from a recognized university or institution.
Internship Completion:
Candidates must have completed their compulsory rotatory internship as part of their MBBS degree program.
Registration:
Candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council.
Minimum Percentage:
Candidates must have obtained a minimum aggregate score of 50% in their MBBS degree program.
Entrance Exam:
Candidates are required to appear for a common entrance exam such as the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG) conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
Other Criteria:
Some institutions may have additional eligibility criteria such as work experience, research experience, or publication of research papers.
PG Diploma eligibility criteria:
Educational Qualification:
To be eligible for admission to a PG Diploma course in medical in India, candidates must have completed their MBBS degree from a recognized university or institution.

Candidates must have completed their compulsory rotatory internship as part of their MBBS degree program.
